El Royal Hideaway presenta numerosas singularidades que lo convierten en un establecimiento llamado a marcar un antes y un después en el concepto del gran confort.
Para empezar promueve una novedad en Canarias, que es ofrecer dos edificios independientes, unidos por un puente, destinados al turismo familiar y adulto.
Sus cifras apabullan: 140 millones de inversión, 300 trabajadores, 603 habitaciones distribuidas en dos edificios, 25 villas, 55 piscinas privadas en las habitaciones, seis restaurantes…
Toda la vegetación que baja del barranco se ha rescatado e introducido en el gran espacio verde, propiciando uno de los ámbitos más bonitos del hotel”, explicó el arquitecto tinerfeño Leonardo Omar, acompañado en todo momento por su lugarteniente Francisco Hernández, arquitecto técnico y jefe de la obra.
El capital proviene de inversores belgas (los mismos que construyeron otro emblemático establecimiento en la zona, el Baobab) y la explotación correrá a cargo de la cadena mallorquina Barceló.

El hotel RH Corales ofrecerá al huésped "planes diseñados para conectar
con la verdadera esencia de la isla y con el océano", con instalaciones y
servicios como "un 'start night cruise' para contemplar las estrellas" o
una inmersión en El Hierro para ver corales negros, entre otras
propuestas.
También plantea propuestas innovadoras en las habitaciones, como el
servicio chef in room, para disfrutar "de una cena de la mano de un chef
en exclusiva", o el "mindfullnes massage", un tratamiento flotante en
el agua en las suites que tengan piscina.
La imponente figura del Royal Hideaway Corales Resort, cuya explotación
corre a cargo de la cadena Barceló, su estructura arquitectónica
vanguardista y sus espacios verdes combinados con rocas frente al mar
dejan boquiabiertos a los huéspedes, cuya primera sorpresa les aguarda
en la recepción principal, a la que hay que acceder a través de una gran
gruta de roca natural en la que se proyectan diferentes escenas de
creación de la luna y las mareas en tiempo real a través de un programa
informático, además de coladas de lava y otros elementos naturales
identificativos de las Islas.

Ruta 040, desde Route Active al cielo
La ruta 040 es un hito del senderismo en la isla de Tenerife que consiste en desplazarse desde la playa del Socorro en el municipio de Los Realejos, desde altitud 0 tocando el agua del océano atlántico, hasta el pico del Teide 3718 metros de altitud, llegando a sobrepasar el mar de nubes, convirtiéndose en el sendero con el mayor desnivel de España.
